Additional Tattoo Artists Need for our busy shop. At this time we have two artists and one apprentice working in our newly remolded shop. We are seeking one, maybe two additional artists who are willing to travel to Annapolis Maryland. Must have a minimum of 3 years shop experience and have a strong portfolio. We offer a two phase program to attract artists from out of state.
Phase 1: Qualified Artists will be invited to spend 5 days working in our shop. We will pay for 5 nights in a local hotel during your stay. We ask that you arrive on Thursday and work Friday through Tuesday. On Wednesday morning we will sit down and talk to see if you would like to work o a full time bases. If you would we will place you on the schedule, if not we will part friends and say good bye. Either way we will pay you for your work.

Phase 2: If you choose to be placed on the schedule, we will offer the following:

• You have the choice of relocating to Annapolis or if you wish only stay in Annapolis on the days you are waking. At this time we have one artists and the general manager who go back to New Jersey two days a week, to spend time with their family. One lives in the Trenton area and the other in the Atlantic City Area.
• If you choose to continue to live in Jersey, we have access to many single rooms available for rent in people’s homes, which rent for about $500.00 per month or less.
• We will guarantee an artist a minimum weekly commission based on their experience.
• You supply the machines, the power supply and ink; we pay for the medical supplies.
Our new artist, who is from Atlantic City, has been with us for 2 weeks and is averaging $1,500.00 plus. We are in need of a professional artist who is seeking a prime location to work in and are willing to work hard and make a great living. Jeff, I spent many years in Thailand... your best bet is to just bring your gear minus s/s tubes...bring disposables. You can resupply in Bangkok easily.
If your in Bangkok then check by Jimmy Wong, close to Na NA Plaza.... his kids both Jack and Joy operate studios within a shopping mall still I believe.
Also, you might want to try and hook up with Chili Joe if he is in Bangkok and not in Europe, I have his contact info...send me a pm.

In general, you will find that your fellow tourist aka "falang" will be your best meal ticket in regards to making any money there... min price usually starts at around $10 bucks locally for thai artists... keep up to date on the local news... Thailand has been a simmering stew waiting to boil over for a coupla years now... The people in the north you will find to much more friendly as compared to the south... Koh Samui and surrounding islands are okay for hanging out... Chiang Mai and surrounding north area rocks.... Khao Yai north of Bangkok and Khao Sok in Surat Thani have always been my favorites of the national parks... both extremely beautiful and dangerous.

Just a quick line to tell you all about me and my current Voyage abroad!! After 16 years in Canada and 8 at the wonderful URGE family Jeff White has hit the road for the forseable future. With previous guests at the Great Voodoo Tattoo in Barcelona and Yasa at 13 Tattoo in Matsuyama Japan, I have hit the road. I still have photos on the urgetattoos.com site aswell as my site under construction at jeffdabutcher.com..........hope to meet some of you all in the near future at the Barcelona show and maybe the Milan convention aswell........currently I am working the summer here in NAXA Tattoo Ibiza, Spain.........thanks for the time....JEFF
